This is one of my first paintings, I'm self-taught and I just do what is beautiful and would love to learn more. This painting I started with a black gesso canvas and I was using a student grade paint and decided to create a smoke scene where the theater faces look like they're popping out didn't know anything about color, and contrast, but I thought it looked really cool. I'm learning slowly but surely.
