I don,t think so i normanally enter a contest straight away but not always enter straight away,whats beginning to concern me on here is when i joined 12 years ago there were a lot of entries to photography contests,the trend has been going down over the years,and yet this site has worldwide members.
i have was joined a local group to me which has weekly contests and there is always at least 30 0r more entrys and this is only people from not a massive area and also on a couple of sites again worldwide and they have hundreds of entrys,so why is this not so not herep can see where contests will have no entrys

no think its more to do with people getting fed up and leaving latest is charlotte telling me she is fed up the way things are on here and over the years i have lost count of the good photographers who have left,and as i say when i joined with 20 entries you had to be quick to get in,cost may come into which is why i got tom to reduce the 5 dollar fee on some to 3 dollars but still there is a lack of entries,it has come to point that i probarly will scale down on putting in contests and although am renewing my membership if things don,t improve it will be the last time.
