I have not sold from this platform before. What do I need to know before I list something that was just recognized?

I think the reason you asked is that is other platforms requirements gets a percentage of the sale. That is not the case here.

Actually I knew that already. I think it was more about the process. Is it totally offline between myself and buyer? Or does process go through this site?

It can be. Now a prospect buyer can inquire which you will be notified by FAR. I noticed in the past they won't show the buyers name at first. Just wanting to know if the item is up for sale. Usually on those inquires my stuff is already been sold and gone. I never really went thru any transactions here. I usually handle that thru PayPal directly with the buyer that contacted me directly. You know what is very cool about this site? Your direct link with up and coming writers on the Fanstory side. Both published books that I have illustrated for were from writers I got to know from our sister site Fanstory. That leads to money as well as the sale of the work. If your interested in that as well I would recommend when post your work make sure you have your tagged available for them to view. Hope this helps.
