A very unique interpretation of mother and child. I like the grace and pose of the woman whilst the child is tugging and pulling, like children do. I also like the fact that the figures are silhouetted against a colourful background. The sun suggests these two are off for a walk to the park or who knows where. Great Storytelling.

The dark shadows of the figures really say a lot in this composition for me. The light around carries wisdom and knowledge.The sun represents love and caring, nurture I think. Great job, well done for impact and story telling ability.

I have had this experience of when a child doesn't necessarily want to go where you want them to go and tries to pull away. This especially applies to teenage where the relationship you have built with a child during its younger years can save it from many heartaches.
This rating does not count towards story rating or author rank.

Great picture for Mothers Day. But, it looks a bit like she is dragging the child. My only problem with this lovely picture. You did a good job with form and the sun and nice coloring. Keep up the good work and keep them coming.
