This is a fun picture. The apparent smile, coupled with the "mohawk" hair cut, gives the birdie a great sense of personality. The soft background contrsats well with the birds color. Very impressive work.

Makes a colourful change from the sparrows and tits I get in my garden Willie.

Ha ha, this made me laugh. He looks like he's had a real shock and you are right, he certainly is beautiful.
This is nice and sharp with a muted background, you can see each frond of his feathers. You have caught the catchlight in the eye too. very nice image.
