This is nice up close photo. I like back gound color, it goes so well with the colors of the feathers. The feathers are so clear and look so soft. I can see just the start of the birds wings, they look as they would be beautiful as well.

Excellent close up of the cardinal. Great view of the eye and very nice detail in the feathers and beak. The colors are lovely, nice contrast, lighting and focus. Good luck in the contest!

This is a beautiful close up photograph of a female cardinal. Even though she is not as bright as the male version, she still has wonderful looking tone to her feathers. The focus is super sharp. The neutral back ground provides good contrast. Good luck in the contest.

How do you tell a boy from a girl bird - the usual way? I love the color on this one ad it's a very distinct photo - love it!
