This is a beautiful capture of a goldfinch. You seem to specialize in bird photography, and this is no exception. The yellow color of the bird is deeply saturated. The green background provides a pleasant contrast.

I love the detail you have captured on him. It is difficult to get detail on the feathers in the male Goldfinches. They always seem to have such smooth feathers. He really pops out of the frame too. Lovely.

I was all ready to comment how I like how you made your nicely blurred green background...until I was pleasantly surprised it has no mixed media. Beautiful colors, very good focus, attention to detail, and using your rule of thirds. This belongs in the National Geographic Magazine!
