The pic works quite nicely even without the full body. The details that you were able to achieve as well as the motion of the wings, give you that sense of flight. The faded green background compliments the pic well also!

Hard to catch these little guys when you are ready to shoot. Excellent stop action on the wings. Nicely detailed focus on the head. Would rather have tail too, but you gotta take what you can get!

This a great action shot of a hummming bird.
I like the motion of the wings in flight, the head stationery. Against the green background the subject stands out. Colours throughout the image blend in harmony.
