Nice shot willie, you captured this hummer at his best, did you use a flash by chance? Good solid detail and color along with a super good job with the framing.

thank you so very much! i used an external flash mounted on a trypod and the camera was on a monopod! I had to wait for the bird to fly into the frame!

it is a pity cutting a bit of the tail but still it is a good shot and clear with a good look from the eyes and nice wings too with background that match technical good and well done table.

Thank you so very much! When the shooting is as fast as this you are lucky to get anything!

This is a super capture here and you really had to be on the ball to catch this fellow in flight as you have. Great work on your part!

Thank you so very much! I was shooting about 300 or so times to get two or three good ones! It is tough shooting but very rewarding!

This is a great shot of this little humming bird. Pin sharp focus on the head area gives us a real close up view of the eye and that amazing beak. A real sense of movement too in the wings.

This is a great sharp close-up of the humming bird. The background is superb, and the capture, focusing on the bird's head, is very good. I would like to see the whole bird within the frame.

Comments: Great shot of this little hummer. Too bad you weren't a millisecond or two later. But I agree having a picture with the wings stopped is a great achievement. Your detail is incredible. Great stop action. Good DOF. Great lighting, Great color. Great set of artist notes. Thanks for sharing.

We all imbibe from nature consciously or unconsciously. That shows in our works. That is manifest in your wonderful photographs of the birds. Always a pleasure to view. This one another beautiful work. Well Done!

Tail cut or not this is a great shot with amazing detail. Crisp and clean, love the shot of the wing. Background shows him off well. Good shot.
