What a cute and beautiful kitten. The eyes are stunning. I also like the touch of grass in the foreground. I have two black kittens and a white and gray mix that I desperately need someone to take. Maybe if I took pictures such as this someone would want them. Oh, and I too have been in some interesting positions to get a good shot. If your on vacation, who cares really? What's the chances of ever seeing them again. If you're a home, you can claim to be eccentric. It's all good either way.

I had a chuckle at you narrative on how this shot came about you sound like me when I an out with my camera, I have had people stop their cars and get out to see it I'm alright and even a bus driver too, but you are right if you want the shot you have to put yourself on the line or rather the ground and in some pretty compromising positions to get them. I love the color of his eyes, big ears, and black and white striped patterns.
We see his so well with a pin sharp focus which includes definition to his hairs and whiskers and shows the texture on his nose.
he stands out so well.
Your light on him is excellent.
like the foreground green grass and the green wall behind. Nice placement in the vertical (good idea) frame.
