love this. Really good, I notice you even got the tendon in his neck and adam's apple, and that dimple in right cheek. I think you go with the flow rather than become known for any particular style. I was told long ago, get known for a style, but I too go with the flow. It is my artists materials that are the continuation in my work, because I get them stolen constantly. Thieves take them for their kids TO PLAY WITH!! Terrorised out of my own home. Three thieves already in this one! As usual, taking art work, written work and bits and pieces, even knickers- one of the thieves was a woman and the men take them for their wives, with excuses like /I have heard/ got them at a flea market etc.

A pretty good looking entry into the competition posted here!
Your fine and full composition offers us an enjoyable view of Slash, whoever he is, but please forgive me as I am an ignorant Brit!! Must take him ages to wash his hair. Nicely painted !

What's funny he is in his 50s and his hair style is the same except has some gray highlights..lol. thanks for the great review

This is a well painted portrait. The portrait is well drawn. I am impressed by your attention to detail. Even the nose ring is realistic. The highlights are perfectly set. I like especially the reflections in the glasses. The colors are adequate. The blue background emphasizes Rock Star excellently. The Rocker is well placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

I posted this back when I first joined FAR.i still couldn't get folks to notice me till I started the Funnie Flowers cartoons. Now when folks see something like this they think I'm improving! Lolol. Thanks Cleo for the awesome review
