I love it, technically great but more exciting I see transformation, cocoons, wings, and freedom. This picture is all about change. Good job

Comment from Life is but a dream.
Helvi I have one of these in my portfolio too and adding a frac filter is so subtle and oftentimes it is the subtle that creates the magic in photography.
I am wondering why you chose to amputate his tail end, or is that his head (who knows). It would be much stronger an image if we could see his whole prickly body but that wasn't your artistic choice so I honor your artistic prerogative.
Love that diagonal placement helps the eye to feel movement. In my upload I used a bit of a zoom out effect versus frac.
This is a fun photo, well taken.
******************************************************************************************I have a joke for you as this upload reminded me of it.
A little worm crawled out of his hole and looked across the grass. There staring back at him was another little worm.
"HI HONEY" said the little worm."HOWZ ABOUT A DATE?"
The other little worm replied:
"Shut up stupid, I'm your other end!"

Ha! Ha! Ha! I loved your catertpillar joke, Life is but a dream! LOL I didn't amputate this little fellows head it's at the top of the shot! :o) I did cut off his back end though. I really wanted a close up on those magnificent hairs.
I'm SO glad you enjoyed the shot. Thanks for telling me how you did yours! :o) Helvi
