I do not mind half a body when you get this kind of eye clarity. This is magnificent! The smooth colorful background is simply delish!
What I want you already must know from shadowing me... More room on the right! Crop is way too tight!

I could care less to see the whole bird. Sometimes just an interesting part of a bird or anything for that matter can be very artistic if composed well. I love that this is a close-up. The detail in phenomenal as are the colors. The angle of the pose is perfect and the branch is at the perfect angle. Very striking photo just as it is.

I could care less to see the whole bird. Sometimes just an interesting part of a bird or anything for that matter can be very artistic if composed well. I love that this is a close-up. a beautiful shot of this bird. I tend to light close-up shots of animals/birds better cause I think it shows the details better and sometimes you get a glimpse into their psyche. This has excellent color, initial impact, clarity, really can't imagine doing anything different.

A very special shot nearly the portrait of a bird which is not seen so often , a super angle and frame - amazing composition letting the branch cross the frame - the green effects you gave your image are outstanding - the contrast and lighting exceptional - the background color has so warm tones and you did a handsome job on luminosity just perfect in tone and density to create the perfect enhancement for this beautiful bird shot, super job

I actually don't want to see the whole bird - I think that your composition here is just perfect and gives the image a very artistic feel. I especially like how the branch fills the frame on the diagonal and the detail in the little heron is simply superb. What an outstanding shot - one to be proud of!

What a delightful photograph. Read your notes and I am happy enough viewing the head and part body. Very attractive bird with blue colours in his feathers. I like your framing and the nicely blurred soft tones in the background. Given the circumstances, I doubt you could improve on this photograph. Personally, I do not feel it needs any improvement!
