I always find owl's eyes so mesmerizing and these are no different. Once you look at the eyes, you cannot look anywhere else! So appropriate you have filled the whole canvas with just the eyes and nose. From a technical point of view this work looks more like a painting with great attention to detail. Good Luck in the contest at voting time.

Wonderful rendering of this beautiful owl with every element of this image so realistic, almost photographic. The eyes are incredible, luminous and penetrating and the beak is so sharp. The feathers are fantastic.!
