It is a beautiful way to express the excitement of a new beginning! The thunderous explosions spewing out wondrous colors into the night sky! The brilliant orange color illuminating the city below! Very nice shot, great timing!

Well it is not easy to get a firework perfectly done, you did a handsome job, the very tiny center is full open and the orange splashes are perfect and amazing in size - perfect distance, great composition, perfect timing, handsome reaction, perfect contrast and lighting and perfect camera night settings, well done, all the best for the contest

It is a wonderful time and photo of the fireworks and city scape below at night. Love the orange color and lights shining on the buildings. The focus is a bit too soft, a higher shutter speed would fix the blur and if possible a tripod to stop camera shake. Nice entry for the contest , good luck.

Thanks so much, was using tripod but the upload seemed to distort image somewhat the small version is much clearer focus.

I love the composition and the eye catching colors. It's a very nice picture. May I suggest you raise your focus point a little higher to see if you can get a sharper focus, I know that's difficult. Everybody thinks fireworks are easy, you know point and shoot. Technically, I'm sure you can say, they're not so easy.

This is a good capture of fireworks which is not easy to do. In the small version, the focus looks crisper than in the larger version where both the explosion and the buildings are out focus.

Thanks for your review - I beleive the focus is more an upload issue as camera and small version are crisp.

Good shot of this colourful fire works. Like the way it lit up the buildings in the foreground. Good lighting and detail. Angles of shot well balanced in the frame
