More great fun. I really think you are correct in your assessment of the squirrel taunt thing and dogs are such suckers for the chase, lol. The imagery of the squirrels busting a gut laughing at the poor frustrated pooch... priceless. Great color and detail as always, thanks for sharing.

Yes, how totally funny! I like to watch these little ones too-I told Suzanne Thompson, was thinking of starting a drawing of one. Like the expression on the dog's face and the various poses you gave the squirrels! My cat (RIP) could catch anything that moved especially the squirrels! Cute and oh, so true to life Jean

Like your dog I think squirrels are the devil reincarnated. My only defense back has been red cayenne pepper in my bird feeders. I am feeling the poor pooch's pain. If looks could only kill!

I lived in Arkansas for a while, and the squirrels there were amazing- here there is much teeth gnashing at them, as the American squirrel has out bread and out weighed the slighter english squirrel. Your usual delightful work, simple colours and forms to give a clear picture-

Oh this is funny - and it strikes a chord with my. My poodle Sally will sit for hours at the glass door watching for the squirrels to come down into the yard. She barks her head off and we have to open the door for her but by the time she gets to them, they are long gone. I often wonder why she bothers to do it, day in and day out - maybe hopeful that one day she'll get lucky?!

We never give the little critters credit as they are smarter than you might expect. No words needed to tell the story here as the squirrels taunt the frustrated guard dog. Good composition, colorful and framed.

He, he, ha, ha, he... I am rolling on my back. This looks exactly like my dog; except the color. Otherwise the resemblance is amazing, especial the face impression. Of course the squirrels are top on. They always win.
