great job, really good entry for the contest, amazing that it's not mixed media. Good focus, composition really good, certainly a very creative shot. thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much. I know it looks like Mixed Media and think people may assume so. But just a lucky day.

Creativity is what art is all about. Viewing a creation is a totally another matter.

Ive only been to NYC once and was not very impressed with its expansiveness coming from the country life of natural nature. But as a participating reviewer here, I will keep my comments short as I continue to see what others are creating.

The blue light over the whole surface is somewhat confusing me as to what effects the artist is expressing.

The building in the background looks like it has a historical interest next to what appears to be more modern buildings.

The only improvements i would offer, is the purpose of the blueish overlay, which takes way the significance of the blue sky.

Thanks for putting up with my lack of understanding.

Thanks so much for your honest review. Knowing about something isn't always necessary when it comes to reviewing, since it's your aesthetic sense that is the basis of your opinion. As you go along you will learn all the terminology but it is the other that's more important.

A fortuitous shot. Talk about being in the right place at the right time :-) That and catching it in your mind. If you live there, might I suggest returning to the same spot and getting a vertical shot showing the top of the Chrysler Building. The reflective stone adds a pleasant color tone as well.

I don't think the NYC is still there and I think probably only one opportunity. Kind of like the fractured look. Less like a postcard, tho still is in a way. Thanks Paula

oh, it worked, hence the 5 star. Just thought it'd be nice to see the same reflection showing all of the Chrysler BLd.

A wonderful piece of New York City signage and a terrifically clear and distinct reflection. Very creative and nicely edited.

seems like a faded photo from the eighties.

I like the nyc in the window. and the like teeth on the building. cities are not the best shot to me. can be tricky.

Mirror, Mirror is correct. Paula, I believe you. It took me a double reading but I am familiar with those type of Blocks in the City. You Certainly have your imagination hat on today. Very Clever and very nice.
Good luck in the Contest. Royal

Paula, I know what you mean and glad to see you are kind of working outside your normal work. You have the flowers down pat! Expanding on your wonderful skills in other scenic area's will certainly keep you sharp as well as interested. Enough of my preaching. Have a Happy Easter. Royal
