Lol. What not is beak, if not wing, ha,ha! And not of bird, precisely. Love the beautiful color, well detailed design, excellent composition, lighting, and sharp focus. Well done.

Fred,
C'est ne pas un oiseau...it looks like the wing of a very large moth ? the Atlas Moth. Artistic composition & lighting with superb camera techniques with sharp focus.

Supergold it is the great crested butterfly wing very unusual to see without the body but not impossible. Hope I am right now.

It actually looks like the tip of the butterfly wing - focus is soft (probably due to upload) but colour is good and contrasts well against the blurred background.

To my eyes this looks like a part of a butterflies wings! The suspense makes it all the more interesting. My eyes keep going back to it again and again. Good strategy!

Yep, looks like a partial wing of a butterfly. Lovely colours, the close up has intriguing shapes open to interpretation. Well captured and framed.

Ha! I do know what this is!
It is The Atlas moth/Attacus atlas. It is a moth that can mimic a shape of a snake or bird.
A Great find of this wicked cool Moth!

Is it a bird? My guess is its the tip of a butterfly's wing. Good capture and focus to create the illusion. Nicely presented, framed, balanced and good contrast. Lovely colors. Lighting worked very well for you in this shot.
