Good colors, well composed image, in that the colors in the negative space help accentuate the flowers, and their expression very well.

The dark area in the middle makes the viewer want to enter to see what is there, might have been a little more intriguing if there was alight outline of an elephant plant there.

Nicely drawn and nice use of the media

I don't know if it's age of if life has just gotten so busy that we are not use to relaxation anymore. ??? Love your imagination Mark! Only you would think of a flower circus. Great cartoon illustration with whimsical, lighthearted humor to keep us all smiling. Colors, scale, composition - it's all great! Kathy

Happy Birthday! Nice circus tent background. Poor little clown, just doing his job, hiding his mysterious past behind the makeup and here come two punk kids making a bad day even worse. Funny and sad, just like clowns.

That is a valid question. I love elephants.:) Where you come up with these great one liners is a mystery but entertaining. Great colors and the feel of the circus is very real in a humorous way. The sad clown face is heart wrenching! :( The delight of the two guests at the dismay of the clown is al little harsh but makes for great humor.

I'm amazed by your ability to create such detailed, vibrant pieces using sharpies! I love the element of humor that you inject into each piece as well, it really makes me smile seeing how you personify those daisies! I love the clown daisy you created for this piece and the way the second daisy waiting to enter the tent has a huge smile and appears to be rubbing its leaves together in anticipation of the fun to come. Excellent color composition used throughout and the clarity of details in this piece is precise and well focused. The linear lines used in this piece are carefully calculated in their creation and the way you add an endless DOF in the dark tent opening is magnificent! I also like how you add volume to the daisy leaves with the addition of a simple horizontal line to show texture and dimension. Great shadowing effect created behind the daisies to add depth to their characters in the picture. Well done and brings a sense of lightness to the table.
