Exquisite, eye catching photo. Egret focused; beautiful stance with wings outspread; stands out against dark back ground and fills the space with a little room left for his take off. Platform he is standing on is asset to photo. For me it this photo doesn't need changing in any way.

As I always say to Sandra, the white egret is on of my favorite birds. Of course because it is white, but also because it is so elegant. This is especially shown in this photo because of the lovely pose with the lifted angel like wings. The neutral colors of the background and the softness make the bird stand out in the most excellent way.

Your photo of this beauty is also nice and sharp showing clear and well defined details in every part of the bird, and the exposure is perfect.

The cropping is neatly done and the bird has got a good placement within the frame, given room to move into. Indeed an excellent shot, and with a very good DOF.

this is just perfect, to the shot with the wings up and ready, perfect timing, his feet still on the ground but you can just make out him lifting up,the detail in the feathers,a wonderful and graceful picture, thank you for sharing
