Reminds me of my walks at the lakeside. Love these purple blooms. I like the way, you've painted the fine details, those fine lines at the center and the various hue of greens in the leaves. Pretty dainty against the sky. High five on realistic concept and painting skills and techniques. A beauty to behold. Well done.

I really like the up close and personal view of these beauties showing off your excellent rendering of the blooms and leaves. I can see the great choice of using the water color pencils to add that nuanced bit of detail here and there without taking away from the lovely softness of the watercolors. Wonderful composition with the choice of three blooms at varying angles positioned slightly off center in the frame. The background is perfect too and has an almost sponge paint like look that works well in contrast to the flowers. Excellent.

Very pleasant painting. The sky background and the purple petals are especially well done. It's a bit odd that there is a darker yellow patch between the top flower and top leave :)
