I love Assasin! Those eyes are gorgeous. I like his colors against the background and I really like the way he appears to be walking though those weeds. Beautiful dog and lovely photo.

Assasin is a beautiful dog.

I don't know what you call him when mad, but I use to have a snow white jack russell named "Chocolate Dude".

He loved to be called "Chocolate" but when I called him "Dude" he knew I was mad mad as hell LOL

This is a good shot. The only thing i would suggest is dimming down the light just a tiny bit, i know that's not what i normally say lol. The lighting on the dog is just fine, but the background seems just a little too bright. I like the blurriness in the background though. That's just my opinion, so you don't have to listen to me :) I do think your focus and framing are very good. Overall, you did a great job on this photo :) Thanks for sharing :)

I actually did try that but it made the features of the dog to dark as well! Thanks for the nice review and rating! Lilibug6

I'll be honest. I love this photo mostly for the subject matter GSD are my favorite breed. You've definitely managed to capture the playfulness in his expression. He is a beautiful dog :)

As_? LoL!
Well, he'll grow up to be an obedient K9...as they have mild temper but can defend his master when in danger!
But why cropped his front paws?
A white board can lighten his face...
Vivid color.
Dramatic lighting.
Nice framing.
Thanks for Sharing.

It was a shot caught quickly before he ran off! I didn't crop them I was using a telephoto lens at the time and he was fairly close! Thanks so much for the very nice review and rating!

First off, beautiful dog. I love german shepherds. He is going to be a big boy!. I love the photo of him, I would have lighten up the shadows around his eyes or used a fill flash. But still a nice portrait. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks so much for the very nice review and rating! This was un-posed so there wasn't time! I used Dodge to lighten it up quite a bit around the face! It was very bright out=) Thanks again! Lilibug6

I understand about grabbing the shot before the dog ran away. Not sure if you do any processing through Lightroom, Aperture or photoshop. I prefer lightroom. You can correct the white balance, soften the highlights and open the shadows. Very nice program.

Lightroom is from Adobe.com You can check out Laurashoe.com She does write ups and puts out samples of Lightroom. You can get an idea of what the program does.
