Well, your daughter certainly is beautiful, and what you've done with this photo really shows it. The lighting is excellent, and I like that it is light enough that I can still see the outline of her hair on the left side. Beautiful photo!

If you were a drawing teacher or anatomist you could use this image as a teaching tool as the circle of the face shows you how to draw the the lower fourth, as well. What I wonder is why you dediced to place the image at the point where not all of her face is highlighted! I think you had an intended message, but I am not sure what the message is. Anyway, lovely girl, lovely image, that has a nice soft quality that is most appealing.

She seems to have beauty inside and out. I like your presentation by highlighting her face as the brightest part of the picture. It is like her face is glowing. Good idea. I may have to use that. Her lips really stand out to me as well. They look so smooth and shiny. Great job.

I think you did an outstanding job with using low key lighting correctly. I think most here do not understand that low key lighting makes the most of dark tones and shadows which you have done here. Your lighting creates the mood well.
You have illuminated her gorgeous eyes, lip glossed lips and porcelain skin perfectly making her stand out against the backdrop and hidden shadows.Anyone who gives you grief or less than ratings does not understand the true beauty of low key lighting.
I am VERY IMPRESSED with your camera techs and use of this technique.

That shot is a perfect example of Low key lighting. Whomever said it..does not understand certain terms and techniques...That is the best low key i have seen on far...most thought it was your vignette.
