What a sweet and pretty little flower, with such a lovely name!
Columbine reminds me of an old fashioned dancer, more specifically the prima ballerina Anna Pavlova , who was one of the greatest ever she reigned supreme in the 1920's and 30's, and in her repertoire a piece called " Harlequin and Columbine" and I imagine her costume would have been just like this flower .
I digress, I'm sorry.
This is a lovely image , well constructed, simple but so endearing.
