As always, a most beautiful piece of work. As you know I have a passion for still life and am always attracted to these images. I love the colours and the way that they work together. The only thing I am less keen on is the reflections in the glass which seem busy. The highlights in them are a little distracting. Nevertheless, a quality image from the master!

Counting the days till the birth of Christs Celebration/ Christmas. It starts the Fourth Sunday before the 25th.
The season features the colour purple, as purple symbolises anticipation and preparation. Traditionally four purple candles are used to represent each Sunday, however it is now common to have white candles, or even red. But in Norway as you stated in your notes they use Purple.
Cara Mia, this is Elegant and oh so loverly. I love the purity of the whites and the Royalty of the purple.
Your focus is razor sharp showing great details on the flower petals, the diamond patterned candle votive and amazing reflections on the wine glass.Your use of light is majestic with the light rays softly shooting up.
This is truly magical in every way. Your artistic eye and gifted hands have once again raised the bar.

Nice image like how you re-sized some objects to fit here. When I think of advent I think of tapered candles not the bar like candle holder you have here.
