In the smaller picture the focus on the tree kangaroo is good, however, in the larger picture it is a bit blurry. I like the texture of the background and the lighting is good. I was very interested to see what kind of animal this was. Thanks for the explanation.

Thanks so much, not sure why the larger one looks blurry it appears ok on my laptop both small and large version. Appreciate your comments. :) Mary

A very nice shot of this unusual kangaroo. I have seen them at the Detroit Zoo, but they are always in the trees sleeping. Excellent colors and fine cropping.

I thought this is Baby Bear. I like how you've capture that tender eye and its gentle look. Great focus and angle, showing the facial features and the soft textures of the coat. Framing could have been improve, by providing more margins for this tree kangaroo to breath and move, but overall, this is well captured. A joy to view.

Thanks for your encouraging words yes cropped tighter than I would normally be had too much light above cropping can cover up a few problems sometimes 😀

New one on me. Why anyone would want to hunt and kill this critter is beyond me. Nice catch and composition. Good job. Cheers, JR

I had not heard of the tree kangaroos before. A good profile, focus and frame with a highlight on the eye. Good work.
