The heron is already counting on her meal. She looks pretty strategic, and already know her next move. A sharp distant shot. The cloudless sky made a nice background. Well captured and is a pleasant, natural sight.

The heron looks intent as it surveys the water below from its lofty perch in the tree. Great shot of a heron as It waits for the right moment to dive in and catch itself a fish.

Fred,
A brilliant & beautiful picture of this Grey Heron perched above the water facing the sun that is making it's long razor sharp gold coloured bill glow & it's eye sparkle, & it's grey plumage stand out in three D against the beautiful clear blue sky. The almost bare twigs casting shadows over it's back. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting with superb camera techniques with sharp focus.
