Great idea for this contest. It's a beautiful harbor even in the reflection. Excellent lighting, focus, depth of field and creativity. Kudos.

I almost gave you a six on this. I find this so compelling. When I read the contest explanation, I wondered what people would do. You have surpassed anything I could have imagined. The only thing that bothers me a bit is the reflection seems almost cut off at the top/bottom.

This would have looked amazing if the water didn't have slight ripples in it but then I probably wouldn't have liked it half as much. The ripples help the eye to see the water. Wonderful detail and color. It almost looks like a mirage is reflected in the water. Good composition and light. Definitely has a great storytelling ability. Good luck in the contest.

This is stunning. The initial impact is one of color and movement of reflection. And without studying it a bit, it is hard to tell that you have rotated the capture 90 degrees. The closer boats on either end of the frame create quite an optical illusion. Originality is high, aesthetic impact is also high. All Technical skills are educated. And although there is a sizable part of the photograph that is vacant space, it is meaningful to the overall content. Good luck in the contest.

Oops...sorry. I knew that. Multitasking here! :D And yes, 90 degrees may be interesting though. LOL

Awesome capture. The clarity is great. Angle of the shot of the city front and its water reflection is excellent. The capture of the light is great. The image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall

Very good entry for the contest. I like the angle you used for this shot of the lovely harbour in France. The water is amazingly still and clear showing the reflections of all the buildings.

Lighting and focus very good showing excellent clarity. Very nice composition. Good luck in the contest. Suzanne

Very nice ! There is a lot going on in this photo, love the framing along with the composition, the big red boat seems to pull your eye towards it and really stand out against mainly blue tones. POF and DOF perfect. Great job, thanks for sharing.
