This is very nice. I know how difficult it is to catch a hawk. I see them in my backyard but the seem to see me, as well, even though I am in the window (and they fly away). This is a nice shot, nice composition, nice bokey. I like the snow falling - you captured that well. Thank you for sharing.

I really like this photo, because it is not only a photo of a bird, but also the nature it is living in and the beauty of it. You can almost see that the bird is feeling cold while the snow is falling on him, and the branch with snow he is sitting on seems to belong just as much to this scene as the bird. The bird is standing out from all this in an excellent way, and of course becomes the center of interest.
Your photo is also very sharp showing really clear and well defined details both in the bird and the branch, and the exposure is perfect. I also appreciate the very nice and natural colors.
The way the photo is cropped works really well, and the bird has got a perfect placement off to the left. It is indeed a good flow and balance in this composition. It is also a beautiful and well taken photo, and with an excellent DOF,

Very nice natural nature capture, good sharp focus with good clarity throughout, I like that there is plenty of lead room and the capture really identifies natures harshness and it is framed well. Peter
