What beautiful lighting you have placed in this portrait of such a lovely lady. The texture of the wrap is very effective and the line of the curve of her back , so nicely done. A pleasure to view.

The wrap was a headache. It was so hard. I didn't want to settle. I wanted it to be dramatic. Thank you so much for your fantastic review.

What can I say? Another beautiful piece of work! Its amazes me what you can do with pencil. You have definitely captured your subject with your intentions towards being vulnerable. She's gorgeous! Thanks for sharing :)

Well done! The details are incredible and so is your technique. I love how dark and dramatic you made the background. It really makes the light shining down on her back and hair stand out. You did a wonderful job. Thanks for sharing and keep up the great work :)

Thank you dearest friend. I want the dramatic. Life is dramatic. I want that to reflect in my art. Getting a dark background is hard, but I don't want to compromise. I want to touch each viewer with that sense of the sensual.

Your welcome :). You always succeed with the dramatic background. It seems like whatever goal you set for a drawing, you always accomplish :)

Hi Dick. Thank you for the marvelous review. No watermark. I never put them on my work. They are too distracting.

    I mean that FanArtReview watermark...
Just omit that next time as it distracts the beauty of the folds & creases of the blanket!

I didn't know that I had placed a watermark on the picture. I never do. I will check it out.

The loveliest thing to my eye is near the upper rule-of-thirds line, the line of contrast between her coiffure and neck. It is less common for this part of the female form to be featured but it is so important and indeed very beautiful -- the renegade strand of hair is a masterful touch. The rest of the composition presents an appropriate supporting cast, the exposed back supported by drapery in the style reminiscent of the classical masters and the entire piece lit with "Rembrandt lighting". I wouldn't know better than to think this a master class of the genre.

What a masterful review. I am so bolstered by your artistic approach to the piece of work. This is no ordinary review. The fact that you appreciated that part of the neck of a woman, shows me that you truly know the female anatomy and that you appreciate it for what it is. A work of art, created by God.

Very nice pencil drawing.

My first impression was that of a Roman sculpture. The sculptors back then emphasized the human form through muscle and bone structure. They were amazing.
Anyway I digress.

I like the structure of the back of this woman. Seldom is the back photographed or drawn, so this is a unique piece of work.

The use of directional light is great. The stark black background against her highlighted shoulder is an interesting and eye catching contrast.

It is really neat how her face just blends in with the background, essentially not a point of interest for this image.

I like how the hair and towel? both have flowing wavy lines.

Excellent job!
