Nice piece of work here. The daffodils are nice and bright and sharp. The flowers are surrounded by a good depth field to make the flowers stand out. Well done, all the best in the competition.

Stunning! OVER the TOP Beautifulous! I love the unique view we rarely see here on flower shots. Your use of natural light is superb, exposure/white balance is handled well and DOF is fabulous.
There is an elegance and gratefulness to this I like.
Fine camera work Cara..use your cable release yet?
Beautiful work that is oh so loverly!
Bravo!

This is a very good work for the contest, I wish you the best of luck in the contest. There is just something special about black and white and sepia tone photos. Blessings, Patricia

I think your experiment of shooting this from above worked well. I like your composition. I do have to ask, what do you use to soften the picture? The lighting is amazing. These are just very beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

Nice contest entry and a very fine photo of this bouquet of daffodils. Like the black background and I guess this meets the shallow depth of field criteria for this contest. Most everything in the photo looks pretty sharp. When I think of shallow depth of field I think of a nice blurred background behind the subject but of course there is no visible background here. Nice black and white photo however, and a pretty bouquet of flowers.

What a pretty shot of these dafodils, especially love it in black and white. The way the edges are so clear is beautiful with muted areas on the outside. A very nice shot all the way around.
