An awesome shot with perfect composition and excellent color in the dawn sky. The detail in the rigging of the moored boats is superb and the reflection could not be better.

I found this shot mesmerizing. The flow of colours from the sky onto the water is beautiful and it almost has a metallic sheen to the water surface. This would look great printed on a Chromajet Metallic pearl paper. Interesting story to accompany the image also. Thanks for sharing.

Supergoldtastic!
Fred, this is a BEAUTY of a shot!
Love mood of solitude it offers before the world awakes with all the noise. Great POV, Focus , angle and sweet exposure.
Sweet Sunrise Shot!

I am impressed and you say no touch ups! This is another clear example of your artistic eye coming into play, not only for the subject matter which is calm and restful but for the colour palette as well.

You needed to put this into a contest, it's a winner.

Just gorgeous! And that no touching up/mixed media is involved is remarkable.
The most striking part of the photo is the color, of course--it makes me think of sherbet, the oranges/pinks:) However, there is a sense of almost dread in the photo--maybe from the boats, which almost seem to be lurking, and the fiery sun just setting. Looked at more closely, the colors of the sky and bay are probably caused by pollution, so there is something probably thematic in this, about what lies beneath surface prettiness.
Thank you for sharing this.
Stacia
