Thank you for sharing your bright picture-story.
Bright flies wondering inside the flower attracted my attention at the first place. Flies are in good focus. looking at he hairy surface of the flower makes me shiver. Especially after I read your comments about flower smell and texture.
interesting case of "alternative pollination"
i appreciate you shared detailed story as well. I had various zoology classes at the University, and always like to get information along with the image.

And i do think it should give extra credit to the artist

Wow this is a fantastic view of the green flies. Your written work truly adds to the meaning of the photo. What I like about the photo is the color of the two flies contrasted against the color of the flower and the angle and lighting is great. Great Job!

Amazing! And so interesting to learn about the smell of the flower. We usually associate florals to have a sweet pleasant aroma, not one of rotting flesh. The photographic capture you achieved is colorful, vivid and graphic.
