This is heart crunching photography and belongs on a card. Green eyes are splendid and pierce through us as we are caught by them. YOu did a great job in keeping them in focus.
The fact you came down and captured this little face at eye level gives strength to your photograph/portrait of puppy.
You used the oil paint filter with subtlety which gave his fur an appealing lustrous feel, yet you did not overcook any part of colour. This pup's personality was well caught by you and beneath that serious face is one seriously dog who loves you (and your camera).
Congratulations to you for compositional style, technical as well as post processing.

Oh my this one is tooooo cute for words! That sweet face, those blue eyes draw us in and can make us forget about all the violence and hate going on in the world for a few moments. The focus, eye clarity, pose and natural framing of the green leaves make this a beauty of a shot.

What a cute little puppy. I like how you cropped the photo to show mainly his face. His eyes are so clear and beautiful and I like how you captured him looking right into the camera. Oh when a puppy has to hide with such a face expression really something must have gone on - excellent momentum, great capture, wonderful frame a natural portrait with such a nice natural border - these green eyes are stunning , they are clear and sharp and very outstanding on color range
