Nice close up shot presented here. Your composition is very appropriate for such a good looking bloom. The image is sharp but I feel that it is just a little over exposed? Otherwise, well done!

For such a simple flower, they can be spectacular, either singly as you have captured or on an orange colored hillside. This is lovely! The petals glow with color. Your focus is right on showing the delicate center to its best advantage. Exposure and dof both good too. The small (very small) quibble I have is that if you had maybe moved a little to the left you might have had a smaller shadow on that lower petal. All in all, a beautiful capture.

A very strong entry of the contest. Very vibrant orange color. The inside of this flower has a lot of inters also. I like all the little I don't know what you call them inside of the flower.
