Ah...perfect summer scene and great entry for the contest. Everything you want - beautiful turquoise sea, bright blue sky, lush green vegetation and white beach with the boats creating added interest. Excellent lighting and focus. Lovely composition. Good luck in the contest. Suzanne

ideal entrant for the summer contest...it is so inviting..the beach, the vegetation,the clear waters and the leisure facility and of course the weather...that is definitely "SUMMER" and your presentation structured so well with a good balance across the whole page with no specific emphasis on any of the subjects but concentrating on the term Summer..wish it would arrive here in the UK..its a bit late coming here ..if at all

Hi Supergold,

This is a lovely image of a sunkissed part of the world I wish I could be teleported to right now. The bluegreen of the sea is quite something! :) R

I know you don't post process your images but this one really looks like a painting Fred, it is so crisp, clean, with stunning colour saturation.

Most of all it is the POV that makes it for me. I am assuming that you are in a boat.

A purist's delight this image...makes me believe in pure photography all over again. Thank you for reminding me that filters and processing is not necessarily the way to go.

    thanks so much Olga;
    itwas taken 4 years ago still with my compact camera, not even a pol filter, but probably a scene which slightly saturates the colors;
