You always take such wonderful images, Fred. I love the reflections in this one. Clear top and bottom. The sky is a beautiful shade of blue. Well done. Good luck. Thank you for sharing.

Fred,
A beautiful & very interesting picture of the traditional Inle Lake stilt houses & the young boy in his boat on the lake below the houses, boy & boat all reflected on the lake adding that extra something to your picture. Artistic composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
Susan

Great shot. I love the reflections. The subject matter is very interesting. The boat is very long and it is interesting how the very young men are seated at the same end making the boat out of trim. Perhaps this makes the boat more maneuverable. The boys seem very young to be on their own, but I am sure they learn to paddle this boats as quickly as they learn to walk. Good job, and thank you for sharing.

This photo could not be better. This is photo journalism with creative spin. The reflection on the water is so good. It take the photo up 10 notches.

This should be in the travelers magazine. You really did a fantastic job in capturing this. The frame work and the light and details are very out standing. Love the colors through out this image. And the story telling on this is a good and educational as well great job well done.

Well I feel like I'm in a boat arriving at their home. Perfect story telling here, great technical work, attention to details such as the thatch roof, stilts, grass and my favorite part, the nice, clear reflection in the water. Well done! Sharon/bea226

I always thought these houses looked cool for how simple they are. I know these people through a National Geographic special feature. They made the Intha look really cool. I love kayaking so the idea of getting around in boats suits me just fine. One thing I wonder about them: what do they do about the hordes of mosquitoes, fungus and mold from all the damp? Anyway, nice work. Thanks for sharing.

    thanks a lot my dear;
    very good and clever questions : you'll be surprised; no mosquitos, no fungus: the reason: no pollution or use of chemicals who may killsome other insects or birds eating the mosquitos;

A very eye appealing scene. The reflection really makes the photo pop. The scene reminds me of Thailand and Cambodia. Nice vivid colors with great subject matter. Well done Fred ~ Steve
