This is fantastic! It is different from pelican we have here in Asia.

the storm has come and gone, and we are just fine as it barely brought us winds or rain. Upper State of florida and east coast did not fair as well. We are very lucky. thanks so much for your wonderful review. Good to get back into it after a very stressful week ;)

fantastic shot of this pelican,such detailed focusing although i would have liked to have seen the full beak but then again why not !! There is great depth to the image with a good mixture of dark to light tones throughout the whole image ..def six from me

the hurricane quietly passed us by, but not before we stressed out over it, scrambling to hang shutters, get food and water and candles to wait out the darkness. Last time we lost power for 16 days! So glad it did not affect us that much this time. You are very kind to ask. Wow, did not know you were in Israel. What part? Thanks so much for your wonderful review and comments.

A beautiful presentation. I love these kind of intimate shots. But knowing my own habits I am pretty sure I would have composed it vertically and tried to include the whole bill. This might well be the more dramatic presentation. Certainly the black background helps.
