A beautiful presentation of flower. Light is well handled to retain flowers' texture and design.

Well done and thanks for sharing.

Nice sharp capture of this stunning specimen. The rich burgundy and soft purple blooms make for a gorgeous scene. The tight crop brings this pretty
scene up close and personal.

You had me at your Title Doc. David was a man after God's heart..he made mistakes..repented and became King.
I love the colors, tall rectangular crop, the add of the white Phlox, the colors, clarity and sharp focus
Impressed with your white balance control as well.
Another favorite of mine.
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Doc!

I don't do nearly as many vertical shots as horizontal but I DO do a few vertical calendars so was thrilled I got this shot EXACTLY the way I wanted it.....hello..Sept. 2017 I think...lol. Anyway, I am particularly proud of this shot so the gold star is mucho appreciated. Thanks so much.

Very pretty Deborah. Beautiful colors. Nice contrast photographing the white with the purple. Excellent exposure and clarity with a great DOF. I also like the vertical framing. Very well done. :)) ~Alveria

Oh it's good to 'see' you Alveria. I haven't noticed you around a lot lately?? Yes...lol...that little white blossom got a work out that evening but the pairing here was, by far, my favorite. I do appreciate you checking it out and giving it such a nice review. Thank you so much.

You have captured the art as Nature painted it. Many soft colors, great detail and at a interesting angle. It holds a feeling that last for more than a few seconds,so nothing should be changed. Good work.

Cyber six! This is stunning. Your 'arrangement' with the David Phlox is perfect. A fine vertical crop for framing!

Your details are wonderful. And your light and shadows provided by your trusty Deblight...has allowed your camera to pick up those deeper areas with some yellows and some more specific detail.

I especially like the unopened buds colors. It is such a true maroon/plum. Have you planted plumbago?

Anyway..a lovely capture and a delight to view as this winter time approaches! Thanks for sharing!

Plumbago is one thing I've never planted Bec. Do you grow it at your place? I know it is similar to PHLOX in shape but think it may be a bit more tender. Is that correct?? I LOVE this shot and have to laugh when I think back to dragging that little white 'David' blossom around to almost each and every other PHLOX I grow.....but loved the way it showed w/ this 'The King' variety. Thank you so much for checking it out...and for the cyber six.....means you thought it worthy!

If you names wasn't on the picture I would have known the artist by the style used! LOL

Very nice selective focus in the two flowers in the foreground are wonderfully focused and also have a great feel of "soft".

The green and black background really makes the featured petal very well.

Awesome!
