second iris today, yet both are individual and different also different presentation. I love irises as we had some in our back garden when I was young, they are a reminder of my dad to me. Beautiful deep colour of the flower backed by the green streaked leaves. Super.

There are many things I love about this image. Love the shape and placement of the flower over the canvas. I think the color is fabulous, the detail amazing. There is a bit of challenge on your photo of the image... letting it slide though cos I know this is a stellar painting. Grand vision. Thanks for sharing. Good Luck!

There are many things I love about this image. Love the shape and placement of the flower over the canvas. I think the color is fabulous, the detail amazing. There is a bit of challenge on your photo of the image... letting it slide though cos I know this is a stellar painting. Grand vision. Thanks for sharing. Good Luck!

The purple is lusciously strong. It needs a little more definition or outline to be sure the petals each have their day. Also i would have slightly more contrast between petals and leaves. Composition is interesting and unique. The little tongue is a bright center of interest and is well executed.

The upload is out of focus and blurred, BUT, I know your artwork isn't. You might want to re-shoot this and re-upload especially if you have it in a contest.
Green and purple are two colours in nature that make me sigh with calmness...they are quietly present often and overlooked. I am happy to see them in your acrylic.
True to nature your pop of orange works as a focal anchor for our eyes and the flow of the flower, that compositional style is also very strong and gives movement to the whole piece.
The details are present and we can see the texture of the petals of this flower thanks to your ability to draw realistically.
I am sorry to say that I have no suggestions for improvement. I like this the way you have it and the post shows us your skill in your medium and how strong and confident you are in your ability.
