I love beach and harbour walks where abandoned boats are left to decay and rot. This is a wonderful example of what cam be seen. Real good textures in wood plus rust stains running down from bolts adds to the ageing process. Rusted ladder looks so flimsy now .All in all a boat with history and a final decision to be left out in the elements. Quite sad actually.

Photographers for some reason love to take photos of wrecks, and when I am seeing this photo it is easy to understand why. Because first of all it offers a variety of colors, and also great textures. I especially like the angle you used when taking this photo.
Your photo is of course also nice and sharp with really clear and well defined details in every part of the wreck, and the exposure is very good.
The tight framing is working well and the wreck has got a fine placement within the frame. I think this is a great looking and well taken photo, and with an excellent DOF.

Wow! This is awesome to view and to study. I like trying to discern between the rusty metal and the wooden parts of this old boat. The ladder gives it some scale...as I think it is rather large.
Your camera techs are good too. The colors are natural..highly saturated rusty oranges are attractive with the natural greens. If it were mine I would try backing off the oranges a bit in the color slides of Light room..just to see if detail popped a bit more. But as I said...the color you have chosen is very attractive with your overall scene of the natural gray/lavender of the water and the true Irish green of the hill.
Your light is perfectly handled. And the darkest shadow is in the hull where it belongs..but still showing the contents.
The story here is endless for my imagination. I love that. Framing is just right with just enought of the boat cropped to get the feeling of a life of tough journeys on the sea. Thanks for sharing!

A mark of a good eye is seeing something like this and analyze the scene for the shot that can tell a story of the past glory days. The POV and DOF are great. Aging and decaying but you choose to freeze that decay and create a future of story telling.
