Nice capture of an almost explosive display of the northern lights. Good placement of the tree tops to help give it some depth.Color is great, and timing (early evening I'm guessing, thats when we see them here in canada) is also good.Nice job!

What a great catch! I have never seen an Aurora Borealis and long to get my own pictures some day. In the meantime I will awe over yours! I have a feeling that due to their nature they are not the easiest things to capture with the lens. I think you have done a nice job and I like the way the stars stand out in this too.

A beautiful photo of a magnificent natural wonder. It looks like a giant green flame lighting up the night sky A very lovely sight, indeed. Well-photographed.

I give you 6 plus, plus for explaining what Aurora Borlious is or the Northern Lights. So many have no concept how these one of a kind beauties are forged and formed. This is #16 on my "must see before I kick the bucket and croak list". My BBL: Beautiful Bucket List. Literally. I have 1 daughter and only 1 hubby and said buckets cheaper than coffin Kind of like our finger prints, no 2 are ever the same. I hope I kick the bucket and die seeing one of these beauties!! If you live near these I so envy you. In Southern California we never even get anything close to this. Just a marvelous shot my dear friend. Many Blessings Today and Always~ Cindy Sue ~

Do u live in Alaska???? Gee, hubby and I have been even looking there. I have 2 fr IU ends there. One owns a stay, fish, gut, guide resort. So gotta get out of Evil Cali. Hate it here. Don't want to grow old and out of my mind here. California Crazy at your service!
