This is indeed a beautiful yellow rose, and you have pictured it so well. I like very much the light green leaves as well, and the rose is standing out from them in a lovely way. I also like the way the light is falling on the rose.
Your photo is also nice and sharp and it is such clear and well defined details to be seen both in the petals of the rose and the green leaves. Also the exposure is spot on.
The format and framing is perfect and the rose has got a very good placement within the frame. I think this is a truly lovely and well taken photo Mike, and with a very good DOF.

What a glorious rose! The different shades of gold and orange add lots of interest, and the green leaves show off the blossom well. This would have been contest worthy!

One brilliant color in the midst of the shades of green.. The shades of orange certainly lets one know what the center of Interest is. The lighting is beautiful also with the lightr petals on the outside building towards the darker orange on the inside.
