Beautiful shot! The water is so still, it's difficult to tell which is the reflection. The crisscrossing clouds are beautiful.

Wow! The wetlands are so clear and the reflection of the sky it looks like sunset and is really cool! The depth of field is well done showing how the wetlands go further with more woods. Really great photo!

There certainly are a lot of these over here in northeastern New York state,Lori! ( I guess that the Haudenosaunee and the Huron didn't call the area 'The Drowned Lands' for nothing,did they? : ) )
Your photo of this particular stretch of Wetland ( which reminds me a lot of how 'Cedar Swamp',just north of town along the historic 'Great Iroquois War Path' trail leading up to Lake Champlain looks in the summer! ) is a lot of fun to view!

I wouldn't have thought of New York having wetlands. The colors are so smooth it looked at first like a painting. I really am attracted to the pinks of the sky reflected in the open waters. The mixture of green leafy plants and the dead trunks gives the viewer a sense of frailty that we find in nature. Love this piece.

We have quite a few! New York is often thought of as New York city but in a lot of areas of New York there is beautiful country scenes, wetlands, and even mountain areas! It is actually very beautiful in a lot of places=) Thanks so much for the very nice review! Lori
