This is a great photograph. The way you captured them lined up like this makes for a very pleasing, rythmic image. I also like the way you've divided the plane of the picture by showing more sky than ground and the fence going across adds another rhythmic element. The shadow under the first plane gives it a 3 dimensional effect. Great work!

I have seen these monsters at the air national guard airfield in Memphis. I think they are transports. The clarity is great. The capture of the light is great. The angle of the shot of the planes is great. The image is balanced and eye interesting to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall

This is a nice 3 planes in a row. It is nicely balanced with beautiful blue skys on top and green grass below. It is cropped and focused well. Thank you for sharing.

Yes, it can be very enjoyable watching planes coming and going! Your fine composition grants us a good look at them on the ground. Exposure and sharpness are fine. Well done!

Cool,Jack!
That's a very pleasant shot of this trio of North Carolina Air Guard Lockheed C-130 'Hercules' transport planes 'on the apron' at the Charlotte airport!
'Good Show',my friend!

A brilliant capture of this row of neatly aligned military planes, as your title suggests - always on call. Amazing to think that within minutes of a bell going off or a phone call these could all be thousands of metres in the air. A great shot captured on a great clear day, with great clarity and DOF showing the tails in symmetry of the other planes, and a great POV - lovely piece.

Sounds like you had a good time. The image is traditional with great exposure, color and detail. Remember to allow some extra around the boarder to accommodate a matt and frame. :-)

I am trying to remember what you said and I almost took off a little more of this, but I will try to get a little better with my photos and work a little harder. Thank you so very much. JackJr.

I really like how you composed this shot. The angle that presents the aircraft in a juxtaposed line up is truly artistic and visually appealing. You have a good eye. Lovely blue sky is the perfect backdrop. Beautifully clear and detailed too. Very well done.

What a nice thing to do -- have the picnic tables! (Surprising post 9/11!)

This is a nice photograph... I like that you gave an odd number of planes.

However, I wonder about the horizon line of the tarmac... usually they are quite horizontal. Also, there is a bit of dust on your lens -- which is apparent in the sky.

Thank you for your review and letting me know about the lens being dirty, I am a truck driver and I just don't know sometimes what to look for in my equipment, that's why I am on here to learn from the pros. Thank you once again. JackJr.

I see it I wonder if I could crop it out. Jack

you're better off cloning it out! (and cleaning the camera lens!)
reply by the author on 28-Jun-2017
I don't know that much about cloning as you can tell I feel like a rookie sometimes but what would be the best way to clean the lens. Jack
reply by snowblaze on 28-Jun-2017
I don't know what kind of camera you have --- or, if the dust is inside the body or on the internal glass. you may want to you tube your camera and find a tutorial. (also find a tutorial with cloning for whichever post-processing program you select. there is wealth of info out there!!)

Sounds like fun more like the old days. You have nice sharp focus through out the scene. Colors are all nice and compliment each other. Composition is perfect. Nice work Jack :)
