Love this background and the flight movements captured in this photo. The colors are beautiful. I especially like the slant of the grass and the motion it adds to the entire piece.

This is a stunning capture of this pair of Purple Finches in flight. Good camera techniques at work and nice stop action with a good perspective. A fine entry to the Birds in Flight Contest and a good contender and good luck. Your horizontal crop works well here. Your focus is spot on and sharp with beautiful natural light and wonderful details on the feathers and markings with stunning colors. This is very nice work and thanks for sharing!

That is the BEST way to describe their colors which are gorgeous.
I have never seen one before but will see if Butterfly world has them. If they do..I am going to live inside their enclosure!!
It is a challenge to get one bird in flight..here you get two with fine clarity and beautiful stop action on those wings. I love the open wide spread and the upward spread on the two.
Fine bird photography with great camera techs and skill behind the lens.
