It actually looks like the one at the top is laughing, and that the three of them are having some sort of conversation. LOL Very good timing to capture this, and the birds are standing out from the softened background in such a lovely way.
Then your photo is also pin sharp and it really clear and well defined details to be seen in the feathers. I also think the exposure is very good.
The cropping works well and I think the birds are well placed within the frame. Indeed a great looking, funny and well taken photo, and with an excellent DOF.
