A beautiful picture of the pink Tulip's heart showing us in detail both the central pistil & the surrounding stamens covered in yellow pollen. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

The is just a stunning macro photo, and I am so sorry I have not six stars ratings left to give, because this one for sure deserves it. The inside of this tulip is so delicate in colors with the pin petals, the light green pistil and the light yellow stamens. I also like very much that the shadows from the stamens are so well defined.
Your focus is just spot on and sharp and it is such clear and well defined details to be seen in all parts of the flower. I also think the exposure is perfect.
The cropping could not have been better, and I like how the pistil has got a placement just a tad off to the left. This is indeed a beautiful and well taken macro photo, and with an excellent DOF. This should do well in the contest, and I wish you luck.

Hi Soulfeeder!
That's an enjoyably colorful 'Botanically Erotic' image,my friend!
It's nicely 'different' as far as subject matter goes and it's quite enjoyable to view!

Your macro, taken during bright harsh time works for it bounces . There is a very feminine feel to this, soft and gentle and reproductive :-)
What catches the eye is the explosive quality of the swirls in the petals right at the bottom as there is a "swoosh" feel and the center is the stabilizing force.
Your colour palette, as already mentioned is feminine soft but also not over saturated. This photograph is a purist's delight.
I do not have any comments to suggest improvements. Some may ask for more information at the bottom but to me this works as the margin acts as a solid foundation.
The stamens are sharp, we can see the pollen.
Congratulations on a well taken photograph.

thanks a million for this inspiring review, Olga. It is nice hearing from you. How's life in the tropics?
-
Hi there....it's hot and rainy...rainy season. We've got flooding in the outlying villages and the coastal waters are rising. Life is good and busy....a good busy. And you?
-
thanks, Olga. T'is American Eclipse made us busy today, too. I can just imagine the soothing sounds of tropical rain in your place. Take care.
