An interesting composition of details and textures and colors. It is almost confusing to separate the two figures away from each other. You used your light and shadows well without over saturating the details necessary in this scene. The blacks are rich and the greens are fresh and lovely with those various shades of blues and brown in the bg. Nice shot! Interesting.

Now this is a great entry for Butterflies contest showing more than one butterfly.

Your technical is spot on and the crop to square works. There is an implied diagonal swerve which adds to visual stimulation.

The title is very cute and humorous. I've never seen two butterflies mating so this photo is unique to me in the subject material. Love the colors and the composition.

In the movie, the couple were at each others throat!:) Here it is something more of a pleasant activity!:) This is a lovely shot of the couple! You have timed it well. The light, colour and the composition have worked well. Good luck in the contest!

Wow! Very unique shot. That's not something (ahem) you see every day.
I like the symmetry of the shot. At first I thought is was one butterfly over water. It does draw you in to investigate what is going on and see a different side of nature that is usually unseen.
Nice photo.

'Good Show',my friend! : )
While most photos of coupling animals that get posted here on FAR strike me as being sorta' baffling in a 'WTF?' way your photo of these impressively colorful Butterflies giving vent to one of Nature's primary instinctual urges & and 'illustrating' an important aspect of the planet's Great Life Force in action up among the green leaves makes for an attractive ,interesting, and very enjoyable scene!
'Cool'!
