What a perfect entry for the contest. Yellow is definitely what the eye sees first - good initial impact. Nice sharp focus, good placement of focal point, well framed and a joy to view. Very happy.

That that is yellow. I am not acquainted with this species. However he is certainly very bright and would catch your attention in the wild. The only issue I see is that your DOF is a bit off as his beak is fuzzy and unfocused. It does detract from the rest of the pretty scene.

its like you just told him a joke and he started chuckling with you snap the picture. lol. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of the laughing bird is great. the capture of the light is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

I love this little guy!! I see that he is missing a toe nail. Aww..well it doesn't seem to matter to him. Love the beautiful shades of yellow which is exactly what this piece is calling for. Even the piece of food he picked is yellow... He is definitely a cute little guy. Is he a parrolet?

Whatever it is, it is precious. I have seen a lot of parroletts lately and they all have bright pink beaks where the parakeets do not. Anyway love this entry into the contest and I hope that you win!
